each blow precisely placed to kill

every person terrorist in the vicinity

prayers for families wiped from registries

as the newest grandchild

lays dead at one month too young to

even have a skull or bones

solid enough to be cracked

tell me how

it is ever

necessary to snipe down children

eviscerate families waving white flags

for a war designed to erase the

rich culture of a people killed for

existing on the land that is theirs

evicted by a foreign entity

prayers alone are worthless to those

ambushed and aged

living through their second genocide

expedited by world superpowers

so they can validate themselves that

terrorists are all they are
